So far, we have looked at criteria related to impact on people and the environment. As was explained in the introductory module, there are also a set of criteria related to impact on radiological barriers and controls at facilities. Don’t worry too much about what that title means. It will become clear as we go through the module.

In this module, we will look at why we have these critera, where they apply and what they look like. There are three types of criteria.
